Press Kit Seefeld
THE CRADLE OF CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING: 1964. 1976. 2012. The Olympic flame has already burned three times in Seefeld. The suntrap on the high plateau has established itself as the centre for Nordic sports in ski-mad Tyrol. But when Innsbruck was awarded the Winter Olympics in 1964, the Seefeld plateau offered perfect conditions for competitions in the Nordic disciplines.
